The role is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance workforce capability, improve quality, increase productivity, and support manufacturing excellence.Experience4–6 years of experience in Technical Training, Manufacturing Operations, Learning & Development, or Capability Building.Minimum 2–3 years of experience in EMS/FATP or Electronics Manufacturing environment.Exposure to workforce competency development, technical training delivery, and capability-building initiatives.Education QualificationDiploma / Bachelor’s Degree in EEE, ECE, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or equivalent.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver classroom-based technical training, workshops, induction programs, refresher sessions, and upskilling initiatives.Develop and maintain training modules, SOPs, work instructions, presentations, visual aids, videos, and e-learning content.Conduct training on SMT, Assembly, Testing, Packaging, Quality, Safety, and Manufacturing Systems.Design technical capability programs for engineers, technicians, supervisors, and production support functions.Manage skill assessments, certification programs, and competency evaluations.Maintain training records, skill matrices, certification databases, and audit-ready documentation.Identify skill gaps and develop structured learning paths for DL and IDL employees.Support continuous improvement, quality enhancement, and productivity initiatives through training interventions.IDL Capability Development AreasLean ManufacturingSix Sigma FundamentalsRoot Cause Analysis (RCA)Problem Solving MethodologiesSPC and Quality ToolsPFMEA & Control Plan AwarenessEquipment Reliability & TPMIndustrial Engineering FundamentalsYield Improvement TechniquesIPC Standards AwarenessKey CompetenciesStrong understanding of Electronics Manufacturing (EMS/FATP) processes.Knowledge of SMT, Assembly, Testing, and Packaging operations.Training design, content development, and facilitation skills.Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, and Process Improvement knowledge.Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and LMS platforms.Preferred CertificationsLean Practitioner / Six Sigma Green BeltTrain-the-Trainer CertificationIPC Standards Awareness (IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001)Problem Solving / RCA Certification
