Associate, Venture Capital

About the RoleWe are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Associate to join our Venture Capital team. The role will focus on sourcing, evaluating and supporting investments in high-growth technology companies, with a particular emphasis on enterprise software, SaaS, AI and digital infrastructure businesses across global markets.Working closely with senior investment professionals, you will play an active role throughout the investment lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and conducting commercial due diligence to supporting portfolio companies and contributing to exit strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in venture capital while working with innovative founders and fast-growing businesses.Key ResponsibilitiesSource and evaluate investment opportunities across enterprise software, SaaS, AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, fintech and broader technology sectors.Build relationships with founders, venture funds, accelerators, corporate partners and industry experts to develop a strong investment pipeline.Conduct market research, competitive analysis and commercial due diligence to assess investment opportunities.Develop financial models, valuation analyses and investment recommendations.Prepare investment memoranda, committee papers and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.Participate in management meetings, customer reference calls and technical diligence processes.Monitor portfolio company performance through financial analysis, KPI tracking and strategic reviews.Support portfolio companies on growth initiatives, fundraising, strategic partnerships and follow-on investment opportunities.Stay informed on technology trends, emerging markets and venture capital activity to identify new investment themes.Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events and ecosystem engagements.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related discipline.3 to 6 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, corporate venture capital, strategy consulting or technology-focused corporate development.Strong understanding of enterprise software, SaaS business models and technology markets.Experience evaluating early-stage and growth-stage technology companies is highly desirable.Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.Experience preparing investment materials for senior decision makers.Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred KnowledgeEnterprise SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, NRR, CAC, LTV, gross margin and churn.AI and machine learning applications.Cloud computing and infrastructure software.Cybersecurity.Developer tools and enterprise infrastructure.Digital transformation trends.Venture capital ecosystem and fundraising dynamics.Skills & CompetenciesStrong commercial judgement and analytical thinking.Intellectual curiosity with a passion for technology and innovation.Ability to assess markets, products and competitive landscapes.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving.High level of integrity and professionalism.
