This leader will translate business priorities into an integrated technology roadmap and accountable product outcomes, ensuring technology improves product availability, inventory productivity, operational efficiency, supply chain visibility and scalability across PriceSmart’s multi-country operations. Operating within the Product Engineering model, the AVP will own the Supply Chain & Logistics Technology portfolio while partnering closely with ERP/JDE, Enterprise Architecture & Strategy, Data & AI, Infrastructure/Ops & Security and Technology Business Operations. The role is expected to simplify the technology landscape, modernize critical capabilities, strengthen business ownership, and accelerate measurable delivery rather than operate as a traditional application-support function.What's unique about this job (What you’ll do) Strategic PrioritiesMake Supply Chain & Logistics Technology a business capability focused on measurable outcomes, not application ownership.Create an integrated technology roadmap across supplier, catalog, inventory, distribution, warehouse and logistics capabilities.Modernize and simplify the supply chain technology ecosystem while protecting operational continuity.Improve inventory visibility, product flow, operational efficiency and scalability through technology.Establish clear product ownership, prioritization and accountability across the portfolio.Build reusable capabilities and reduce point solutions and unnecessary customization.Supply Chain & Logistics Technology StrategyDefine and execute the technology strategy and multi-year roadmap for Supply Chain & Logistics aligned with enterprise and business priorities.Translate Supply Chain, Merchandising and Operations strategies into technology capabilities, products and investment priorities.Own technology planning across Supplier Experience, Digital Catalog, Inventory, Distribution, Warehouse and Logistics.Maintain a clear capability roadmap that balances transformation, modernization, technical health and operational needs.Product Operating Model & Business PartnershipEstablish product-oriented ways of working with clear business outcomes, product ownership, roadmaps and success metrics.Partner with business leaders to define problems, prioritize demand and make trade-offs based on enterprise value.Ensure teams are organized around business capabilities and outcomes rather than individual systems.Drive adoption, change readiness and value realization for new capabilities.Technology Delivery & ModernizationLead delivery of strategic supply chain and logistics technology initiatives from roadmap through implementation and adoption.Simplify fragmented processes and technologies and reduce technical debt where it limits business agility.Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure and support PriceSmart’s multi-country operating model.Partner with ERP/JDE leadership on integrations, dependencies and transition planning where supply chain capabilities rely on core ERP services.Drive disciplined execution with clear milestones, dependencies, risks and measurable business outcomes.Enterprise Capability IntegrationPartner with Enterprise Architecture & Strategy to ensure solutions align with target architecture, technology standards and portfolio strategy.Partner with Data & AI to enable trusted supply chain data, analytics, forecasting and AI-enabled use cases.Partner with Infrastructure, Operations & Security to ensure reliability, performance, security and operational readiness.Partner with Technology Business Operations on portfolio governance, financial management, vendor management and delivery transparency.Collaborate across Product Engineering domains where end-to-end journeys intersect with Club/POS/Digital and Corporate Technology.Bring your passion and expertise (Who you are)Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline required.Master's degree in business administration, Technology, Supply Chain or related field preferred.12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including significant responsibility for enterprise applications, product engineering, digital platforms or supply chain technology.5+ years leading Directors, Senior Managers or multi-disciplinary technology teams within large, complex or multi-country organizations.Demonstrated experience partnering with senior Supply Chain, Merchandising and Operations leaders to translate business strategy into technology outcomes.Proven experience leading major technology transformation, modernization or platform implementation initiatives.Experience managing strategic vendors, systems integrators, technology investments and complex delivery portfolios.Required ExperienceBuilding and transforming Supply Chain & Logistics technology capabilities from strategy through execution.Technology supporting supplier management/experience, product or digital catalog, inventory, distribution, warehouse and logistics processes.Defining capability roadmaps and leading product-oriented delivery models.Integrating supply chain capabilities with ERP and enterprise platforms; JDE/Oracle experience is highly valued.Leading modernization of legacy or fragmented application landscapes while maintaining business continuity.Driving cross-functional programs with complex business, data, architecture and platform dependencies.Using data, analytics and emerging technology to improve forecasting, inventory visibility, product flow and operational decision-making.Retail, wholesale, consumer goods, distribution, omnichannel or membership-based business environments are strongly preferred.Global or multi-country operating environments are strongly preferred.Technical Skills RequiredSupply Chain & Logistics Technology StrategyEnterprise Supply Chain Platforms and IntegrationSupplier / Vendor Technology and Product Catalog CapabilitiesInventory Management and VisibilityWarehouse Management Systems (WMS)Transportation / Logistics Management capabilitiesDistribution and Fulfillment TechnologyERP Integration and modernization;
