Formwork Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This position supports the design and detailing of formwork systems for concrete structures across Azizi’s residential and commercial projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with engineering standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing formwork drawings and calculations, coordinating with structural engineers and site teams, and assisting in selecting suitable materials and equipment. The role also involves reviewing construction plans, optimizing formwork solutions for cost and constructability, and providing technical support during site execution and inspections. The Asst. Formwork Design Engineer will maintain documentation, adhere to company quality and safety procedures, and collaborate with project stakeholders to meet timelines and performance targets.Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of formwork systems and applications, including experience with Formwork and Flatwork in concrete construction.Practical understanding of Carpentry and Power Tools relevant to formwork installation and detailing.Experience working around or coordinating with Heavy Equipment used in construction and concrete works.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; relevant technical certifications in formwork or construction engineering are an advantage.Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, prepare basic design calculations, and use CAD or BIM software for detailing.Strong attention to safety, quality, and compliance with local building codes and engineering standards.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with site engineers, contractors, and project managers.Previous experience in building or infrastructure projects in the Middle East is preferred but not mandatory.
