The company values technical excellence, operational discipline, and long-term partnerships with customers and suppliers.Role Description The Asst Manager Purchase is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. The role involves managing day-to-day purchasing activities, including sourcing materials, obtaining quotations, negotiating prices and terms, and issuing purchase orders in line with company policies. The person in this role will coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery, maintain optimal inventory levels, and address any discrepancies related to quality, quantity, or documentation. Responsibilities include maintaining vendor records, tracking purchase budgets, supporting cost optimization initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. The Asst Manager Purchase will also assist in vendor evaluation, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.Qualifications Strong knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably related to electrical equipment or transformers.Ability to source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate commercially sound contracts, and manage vendor relationships effectively.Proficiency in using ERP or procurement software, MS Excel, and other relevant tools for tracking orders, inventory, and purchase data.Understanding of basic commercial terms, taxation, logistics, and documentation related to industrial purchasing.Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across production, quality, finance, and stores teams.Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field; relevant experience in a purchase or procurement role is preferred.
