OH&S MANAGEMENT SYSTEMImplement and maintain OH&S policies, procedures, programs and site/project plans.Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 45001 requirements.Establish and monitor OH&S objectives, action plans and KPIs.Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HR and Project teams.Identify opportunities for continual improvement in OH&S performance.2. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION & RISK MANAGEMENTConduct/support HIRA, Risk Assessment, JSA/JHA and task-level risk assessments.Identify significant OH&S hazards and prioritize critical risks.Ensure controls are implemented using the Hierarchy of Controls.Monitor high-risk activities and review assessments following incidents, changes or new equipment/materials.Promote proactive hazard and near-miss reporting.3. WORKPLACE SAFETY & HIGH-RISK ACTIVITIESConduct and coordinate workplace inspections and safety walks and monitor controls for:Work at Height | Confined Space | Hot Work | Electrical Work | Excavation | Lifting & Rigging | Machinery Safety | LOTO | Chemical Handling | Material Handling | Construction & Maintenance ActivitiesEnsure appropriate risk assessments, permits, PPE, competency and control measures are implemented.4. PERMIT-TO-WORK & OPERATIONAL CONTROLSMonitor implementation of Permit-to-Work systems.Review permits for high-risk activities and verify field compliance.Ensure appropriate isolation and control measures are established.Conduct PTW audits and recommend improvements.5. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTHSupport implementation of occupational health programs covering:Occupational health hazard identification and risk assessmentMedical examinations and health surveillanceWorkplace exposure monitoringErgonomic risk assessmentChemical, noise and vibration exposureHeat stress and fatigue managementFirst-aid arrangementsEmployee health awarenessCoordination with Occupational Health Physicians/medical professionalsEnsure relevant records and follow-up actions are maintained.6. INCIDENT & ACCIDENT MANAGEMENTEnsure timely reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses.Conduct/support root cause analysis and develop corrective/preventive actions.Track actions to closure and analyze incident trends.Communicate lessons learned and promote a proactive near-miss reporting culture.7. CONTRACTOR OH&S MANAGEMENTEstablish and communicate OH&S requirements for contractors and subcontractors.Review contractor risk assessments, method statements and competency.Conduct contractor induction, inspections, meetings and audits.Monitor contractor performance and corrective actions.Escalate serious or repeated non-compliances.8. EMPLOYEE PARTICIPATION & SAFETY CULTUREPromote employee consultation and participation in OH&S matters.Encourage hazard, near-miss and unsafe-condition reporting.Support safety committees, campaigns and awareness programs.Involve employees in risk assessments and safety improvement initiatives.Promote positive safety behaviours and a proactive safety culture.9. EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS & RESPONSESupport emergency preparedness and response plans.Coordinate mock drills and emergency exercises.Monitor emergency response teams, evacuation arrangements and emergency equipment.Ensure first-aid and emergency facilities are maintained.Review drill performance and track improvement actions.10. TRAINING & COMPETENCYPlan, coordinate and monitor OH&S training programs covering:OH&S Induction | Toolbox Talks | Risk Assessment | Work at Height | Confined Space | Electrical Safety | Fire & Emergency Response | PPE | Chemical Safety | LOTO | Lifting & Rigging | Incident Prevention | Safe Work PracticesIdentify competency requirements for safety-critical activities and maintain appropriate training records.11. LEGAL COMPLIANCE, AUDITS & REPORTINGIdentify and monitor applicable OH&S legal and regulatory requirements.Support maintenance of the OH&S Legal Register and statutory compliance records.Monitor statutory inspections, licenses, approvals and due dates.Conduct OH&S inspections, audits and compliance assessments.Support ISO 45001 internal, customer and certification audits.Prepare corrective action plans and monitor closure.Prepare OH&S dashboards, KPI reports and weekly/monthly management reports covering risks, incidents, compliance and improvement actions.12.
