The platform is built to transition seamlessly to quantum-native hardware as it matures, enabling sustained technical superiority and reduced development costs across industries.We are looking for an experienced Astrodynamics Researcher to own the technical direction of our Orbital Intelligence platform, delivering advanced capabilities in orbit propagation, conjunction analysis, maneuver detection, uncertainty characterization, and AI-powered space analytics.This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of astrodynamics, machine learning, software engineering, and commercial space operations.What You'll DoLead development of orbit determination, propagation, and conjunction assessment capabilities.Design AI/ML solutions for maneuver detection, anomaly detection, and risk prediction.Own technical validation for customer bake-offs, pilot programs, and production deployments.Build scalable cloud-native analytics pipelines and production-grade software.Work directly with satellite operators, insurers, brokers, and SSA partners.Mentor engineers and establish best practices across orbital analytics and software delivery.What We're Looking ForMS or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Astronautical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.5+ years in astrodynamics, SSA, STM, mission analysis, or orbital operations.Strong background in: Orbit determination & propagationCovariance/uncertainty analysisConjunction assessmentSpace situational awarenessManeuver detectionExperience applying AI/ML to aerospace or physical systems.Strong software engineering skills in Python and/or C++.Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, MLOps, and cloud platforms.Comfortable moving technology from research to production.Ideal ExperienceExperience at leading Aerospace and/or SDA organizations with development of mission level capabilities.
