ASU & Utilities Field Operator

POSITION SUMMARYASU & Utilities Field Operator role is a key member of the O&M team for NGHC. Responsible for the day-to-day activities of the ASU & Utilities field production process, which includes operating the process on field: Air Separation Unit, Cooling Water system, Demin Water plant, Instrument Air plant, water treatment and N2 pipeline.The incumbent shall operate in accordance with company safety policies and site-specific procedures to ensure reliability, efficiency and productivity goals are met.Based in Neom, the position reports to ASU & Utilities Plant Manager.NATURE & SCOPEThe main functions of this position are: SAFETY IS FIRST, nothing is important than safety, be fully aligned with all EH&S standards to achieve the goal of zero (0) lost time injuries at HIDCTroubleshoot, collaborate with the O&M team, providing support from the field.Perform daily/monthly routines in accordance with operation and maintenance manuals, procedures, safety policies, and site-specific requirements. Candidates will be required to meet training requirements and successfully pass scheduled validation reviews.Actively participate in NGHC safety programs, promote, and enforce safety rules and good housekeeping methods.Build and maintain a good relationship with all customers and stakeholders to ensure close cooperation.Understand the detailed Emergency Response Plan, accept authority in an emergency to take all steps necessary to protect personnel, and ensure safe operation or plant shut down.Take daily process samples.Apply LOTO process on field.Will be responsible of overall housekeeping in the plants. Will work rotating shifts.Will be on call during certain periods of time.Assist in updating operating documents.Strong commitment to team building, integrity, and diversity.Provide shutdown support leading the operation activities on field.Provide training to new field operators.Contribute to maintaining site management systems, e.g.MOC, BPs, SWIMs, JSAsHave a positive attitude.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES The position is responsible for the safe and reliable field operation of the ASU & Utilities plants following NGHC standards.Will monitor compliance with EH&S standards for all daily activities performed at the plants.Will support the updating of operating procedures.ESSENTIAL EDUCATION and/or QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDHigh school diploma in a technical discipline and a minimum of 3 years of related plant field operation experience in the industrial gas, chemical, refining and or related industry.MINIMUM YEARS EXPERIENCE IN SIMILAR JOB ROLE 3 years of an Experience. SKILLS / TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AREAS:High school diploma in a technical discipline or equivalent experience Candidate must possess a strong safety focus and background.More than 3 years of experience in production plants operation.Experience in handling PFDs, P&IDs, Single Line Diagrams and Shutdown Matrix.Basic computer proficiency and software knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.Must be willing to be on call.Good command of written and spoken English.Experience in work permits and applying the LOTO process is a plus.Proactive, honest, teamwork and hard workingBe enthusiastic and willing to learn.ASU operation experience is a plus.Utilities plant operation is a plus.
