Team members work closely with clients to navigate complex legal challenges and protect their personal interests.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Attorney role based in Lawrenceville, GA. The Attorney will manage a caseload involving probate, trust, and fiduciary litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence, as well as appearing in probate courts, superior courts and occasionally federal court at hearings, bench trials and jury trials throughout Georgia. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, analyzing case law and statutes and providing clear, practical legal advice to individuals. The Attorney will negotiate settlements, collaborate with firm staff on case strategy, and maintain organized case files and timely communication.QualificationsStrong foundation in Law, with experience in trial work.Proficiency in providing Legal Advice that is clear, practical, and client-focusedAdvanced Research skills for case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to probate and litigation and mattersEffective Negotiation skills for settlements, dispute resolution, and client advocacyJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in GeorgiaStrong written and oral advocacy skills, including drafting pleadings, motions, and client communicationsAbility to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a small firm environmentPrior trial experience is necessary.Experience in probate litigation unnecessary, but a willingness to learn probate and fiduciary law is required.Salary range and Benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience. General salary range is $150,000-$175,000. Health, dental, life, disability insurance included. 401k plan
