About AmzaiAmzai is a global event delivery partner. Working across the entire event calendar as an extension of our clients' teams, we provide the expertise needed across audience engagement, sponsorship, logistics and execution, using audience and sponsor data and insight to make each event stronger than the last.About the roleEvery client has a calendar and a set of objectives that range from awareness to brand activation to pipeline. Your job is to help meet them. The work is audience acquisition: identifying the right people, enriching what we already know about them with fresh insight, and delivering the attendee numbers each event needs, with the right roles in the room and a real reason for them to be there. If you like finding out how industries actually work, who really makes decisions inside a company, and why a job title on LinkedIn often does not match what someone actually does, this is a good role for you. What will you doDefine the audience: Work with the Client Partner to turn a client's ICP into a working target definition (industries, size bands, geographies, functions, seniority), and identify which job titles genuinely hold the problem the event addresses.Build the list: Research target companies and build named contact lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and the Amzai database and intelligence engine.Add the context that makes outreach land: Link company priorities and executive priorities to the individual's role, as a human in the loop, then map each segment to the events on the calendar and the themes they cover.Own the data: Keep records clean, deduplicated, and current, document your sources and reasoning so someone else can pick up your work, track coverage and gaps per event and region, and feed response and attendance data back so the next event starts from a better list. What you need to haveEssential2 to 5 years in market research, secondary research, audience or contact research, demand generation research, or business researchGenuinely strong at desk research: you can find things other people cannot, and you know when a source is unreliableAdvanced Excel or Google Sheets: lookups, pivots, deduplication, data cleaningClear written English. You will write short research notes that clients read.Comfortable working with ambiguity. Client briefs are rarely complete.Useful, not requiredExperience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and exposure to CRM systems such as HubSpot or SalesforceFamiliarity with any of our client sectors: law firms, conference organisers, B2B technology, life sciencesAny experience in B2B events, conferences, or field marketingWhat this role is notThis is not a cold-calling or telesales role. You will not be dialling. This is not a technical data analyst role. No SQL or Python required. This is not list-buying. We research; we do not purchase and forward.Career PathThe path forks after Senior Specialist. Both branches are senior, and you do not have to manage people to progress.Delivery track - Audience Intelligence Specialist, then Senior Specialist, then Client Partner. Client Partners own client relationships and direct the specialist unit assigned to each account.Research track* - Audience Intelligence Specialist, then Senior Specialist, then Industry Analyst. Industry Analysts cover one industry in depth. They combine three inputs: what our own event and audience data shows, what practitioners say in the room, and macroeconomic research, including the points where economic signals and industry behaviour do not line up. The output is a defensible view on where an industry is heading and why.*The research track is a function we are actively building
