Audio, Video & Lighting (AVL) Supervisor

Role overviewWe are looking for an experienced AVL Supervisor to oversee the preparation, installation, operation, and dismantling of audio, video, and lighting systems for our events. You will lead technicians and coordinate with event managers, venues, and suppliers to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality technical production.Key responsibilitiesReview event briefs, technical requirements, equipment lists, and production schedules.Supervise the setup, testing, operation, and dismantling of AVL equipment.Lead in-house technicians, freelancers, and supplier crews, assigning tasks and monitoring work quality.Oversee sound systems, microphones, mixing consoles, LED screens, projectors, video playback, lighting fixtures, and control consoles.Coordinate rehearsals, technical checks, and show cues with the event team.Troubleshoot technical issues quickly during preparation and live events.Confirm venue power, cable routing, equipment positions, and rigging requirements with qualified specialists.Enforce site safety procedures and ensure specialist work is carried out by appropriately qualified personnel.Coordinate equipment preparation, transport, inventory checks, maintenance, and damage reporting.Maintain technical checklists and report equipment issues, staffing needs, and event performance.RequirementsAt least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AVL production for live events, including experience supervising technical crews.Strong expertise in at least one AVL discipline, with a practical working knowledge of the other two.Experience delivering corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, live shows, or similar productions.Ability to read technical layouts, signal-flow diagrams, equipment lists, and production schedules.Strong troubleshooting, team leadership, and communication skills.Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet fixed event deadlines.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.Relevant technical qualifications or industry certifications are an advantage.📩 How to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to send their CV with the subject:“AVL Supervisor – Application”📧 hr@eventive.com.saEventive | Behind Every Great Experience
