Audio Video Technician (Lead)

ResponsibilitiesThe Lead AV reports to the Hospitality Department of the Company. The Lead AV Tech is also part of the Company's Technical Team and may be deployed to Hotel properties that the Company services. The Lead AV Tech may also be required to set up and operate - basic sound, video, and lighting gear used at the Hotel properties for meetings, social events and conferences.QualificationsEquipment Knowledge: Know how to handle microphones, sound mixers, speakers, amplifiers, projectors, video screens, and lighting boards.Signal Flow & Networking: Understand how audio and video signals travel through a system, plus basic IT and cabling infrastructure.Troubleshooting: Quick thinking to diagnose and fix audio drops, blank projections, or feedback issues in real-time.Safety Compliance: Follow workplace safety and health (WSH) guidelines, especially when rigging heavy equipment or managing electrical loadGood verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Office & Productivity Suites: Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
