Requirements include, but are not limited to, a background in a technology based, preferably Audio/Visual related, field, and the capability to solve problems calmly and proficiently. Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and possess the ability to build and maintain relationships with high profile clientele. Applicants should have a strong background of technical skills and be apt to learning new technology. Responsibilities will include assisting the Help Desk Manager in fulfilling the A/V needs of high-profile clients in a corporate setting. Candidate will train with the Help Desk Manager and current seasoned technicians in order to learn the A/V systems, learn steps of troubleshooting systems when issues arise, and develop the ability to support high level meetings for executives. Candidates will be expected to build relationships with clients, maintain a calendar of on-site meetings, train clients, and fully support an on-site staff to ensure clients are satisfied with presentations, displays, lines of communication, etc. Candidate will also be responsible for documenting and maintaining records of support, as well as the overall health of the A/V systems. Required Skills and Traits: Experience in A/V field preferred (troubleshoot, set up/break down, meeting support) Professionalism via in-person and email communication Familiar with Video Teleconferencing Platforms (Zoom/Google Meet/MicrosoftTeams) Familiar with audio/visual room control systems (i.e. Crestron) Resourceful, comfortable researching troubleshooting steps Professionally enthusiastic personality Self-motivated and ambitious Job Description: Assist in hands-on meeting support and training customers on systems and VTC platforms Ensure proper functioning of audiovisual equipment during events and presentations Collaborate with clients to determine audiovisual needs and provide technical support Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audiovisual equipment Research and development of various A/V solutions Assist service technicians with repairs, when needed Assist management team in: Creating improved workflow at stationed locations Maintain tracking systems and documentation Organizing and keeping schedules Manage room evaluations, including: Taking detailed inventory and photographing equipment Creating operation instructions for system for client use Completing detailed evaluation forms, describing functionality of the systems Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
