The Enterprise AV & Collaboration Services Supervisor oversees the delivery, coordination, and continuous improvement of audiovisual and unified communications support services across a large, multi-location organization. This individual leads technical support teams responsible for conference room technology, executive meetings, virtual events, webinars, town halls, and hybrid collaboration experiences.The role combines hands-on technical oversight with team leadership, incident management, operational planning, and service delivery optimization to ensure reliable, high-quality audiovisual and collaboration services for employees and business stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee enterprise audiovisual and collaboration support across conference rooms, meeting spaces, executive presentations, and virtual events.Lead technical support for webinars, town halls, training sessions, hybrid meetings, and other high-visibility business events.Manage escalations, troubleshoot complex AV and videoconferencing issues, and drive timely incident resolution.Coordinate incident, change, asset, and service management processes to maintain system reliability and operational efficiency.Establish and maintain support standards, service procedures, and security practices to protect sensitive business information.Supervise, mentor, and develop technical team members, including onboarding, performance management, and ongoing training.Allocate resources, manage team workloads, and streamline support workflows to improve service quality and response times.Partner with IT infrastructure, end-user support, and other technology teams to enhance collaboration services and the overall user experience.Support the maintenance, monitoring, and lifecycle management of audiovisual equipment and collaboration technologies across multiple offices.Core Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Audiovisual Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.At least five years of experience supporting enterprise audiovisual, unified communications, and collaboration technologies.Previous experience leading or supervising technical support professionals, including coaching, onboarding, and performance management.Strong understanding of IT service delivery, incident management, escalation procedures, and operational support practices.Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, and enterprise videoconferencing environments.Familiarity with audiovisual hardware and integrated room systems, including cameras, microphones, displays, digital signal processors (DSPs), switching equipment, and room control systems.Experience with enterprise ticketing, monitoring, reporting, and asset management platforms.Ability to coordinate and support large-scale virtual events, executive presentations, and hybrid meetings.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsIndustry certifications such as AVIXA CTS, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom.Experience supporting senior leadership, executive stakeholders, and high-visibility corporate events.Knowledge of conference room integration, room automation, and hybrid workplace technologies.Experience managing distributed teams or supporting multiple office locations.Familiarity with audiovisual equipment lifecycle planning, inventory management, and technology refresh initiatives.Core Technical SkillsCollaboration Platforms: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, Skype for Business.AV Hardware & Integration: Logitech, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Poly, Shure, Cisco.Video Conferencing & Events: Virtual meetings, webinars, town halls, hybrid events, executive presentations.IT Service Management: Ticketing systems, incident management, escalation procedures, change management, service reporting.AV Systems & Automation: DSPs, room control systems, audiovisual routing and switching, integrated conference room technology.Team & Service Operations: Staff supervision, workflow management, performance development, service delivery optimization.The Phoenix Group Advisors is an equal opportunity employer.
