If you're committed to ongoing learning and share our passion for achievement and overcoming challenges, you may be a great fit for our growing team.Job ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret AV system drawings, schematics, and signal flow diagramsGather and document programming requirements from engineering designs and client specificationsDesign, create, and test new control system modules and custom touch panel / GUI interfacesProgram control processors, touch panels, audio DSPs, and AV peripherals (Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, Biamp, Valcom, and similar platforms)Perform system commissioning, pre-installation checkout, and testing of code prior to and during deploymentPerform on-site troubleshooting and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phasesCreate end-user training materials, as-built documentation, and other program-related documentsParticipate in peer code reviews to support code quality and consistencyUpdate and maintain programming code in installed systemsMaintain control code in a version control systemTravel to various job sites as neededWhat It Takes to Be SuccessfulEducation & ExperienceFormal education or training in electronics, IT, software, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience considered5+ years of experience programming AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, Valcom, and various DSP platforms) requiredCertificationsAVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) preferredCTS-I, or manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Crestron Programmer/CMP, Extron Control Professional, AMX Programmer, QSC Q-SYS) a plusTechnical SkillsHands-on programming experience with Crestron (SIMPL, SIMPL+, S#), Extron (GlobalScripter), AMX (NetLinx/Duet), and QSC Q-SYSExperience configuring and tuning audio DSPs (Biamp, QSC, Extron, or similar)Working knowledge of AV-over-IP and streaming protocols (Dante, NDI, AVB) and general networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs)Ability to read and work from AutoCAD or similar AV system drawingsTraitsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailHelpful and team-orientedResourceful decision-making and creative problem-solving skillsAdaptable and effective under tight deadlinesOur Core ValuesQuality — We take pride in our work and take ownership of the outcomes.
