Audio Visual Technician

Title -AV Technician Salary: Up to AED 10,000Experience: 2–5 yearsKey ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate and dismantle AV equipment for events, meetings, presentations, assemblies and performances.Operate and troubleshoot microphones, speakers, projectors, LED displays, smartboards, sound systems, video conferencing and recording equipment.Provide on-site technical support during live events and rehearsals.Perform preventive maintenance, testing, calibration and basic repairs of AV equipment.Troubleshoot first-level AV issues and escalate complex technical problems.Support classroom AV and digital learning technologies.Assist with installation, configuration and upgrades of AV systems.Maintain inventory of AV equipment, cables, microphones and accessories.Guide staff and students on the safe and correct use of AV equipment.Maintain documentation of AV setups, technical issues and troubleshooting activities.RequirementsDiploma/Degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Electronics, IT, Media Technology, Computer Systems or related field.2–5 years of relevant AV technical support experience.Hands-on experience with audio systems, projectors, displays, smartboards, video conferencing and live-event AV equipment.Strong troubleshooting and user-support skills.Experience within schools, universities, auditoriums, events or multi-site environments is preferred
