System Design and Integration values professionalism, technical excellence, and customer service, offering opportunities for growth and hands-on experience with evolving AV standards.Role Description The Audio Visual Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Seattle Area. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and testing AV systems, including displays, projectors, audio equipment, lighting, and video conferencing solutions. Daily tasks include performing system checks, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and ensuring all equipment operates smoothly during meetings, presentations, and events. The technician will support end users, provide basic training on AV system operation, and document configurations and maintenance activities. Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other technicians is expected to deliver high-quality installations and responsive support.QualificationsAbility to work with and understand Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including integration and operation.Strong Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving AV and connectivity issues.Experience setting up and supporting Video Conferencing platforms and related hardware.Basic understanding of networking concepts related to AV systems is beneficial.Comfort with reading technical diagrams and following installation specifications.Good communication skills and customer-focused approach to supporting end users.Ability to lift and install AV equipment, and work safely with tools and ladders.Previous AV, IT support, or facilities technology experience is preferred.Relevant technical certifications or coursework in AV or low-voltage systems are a plus.
