The company focuses on transforming clients’ homes into intuitive, high-performance spaces tailored to their specific lifestyle and preferences.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Audiovisual Technician role based in Roseland, NJ. The Audiovisual Technician installs, configures, and maintains residential AV systems, including speakers, displays, projectors, lighting controls, and smart home components. Daily responsibilities include wiring and mounting equipment, performing system tests, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring all systems are user-friendly and meet client expectations. The role also involves supporting video conferencing setups, collaborating with designers and project managers, documenting work completed, and occasionally assisting with client training and demonstrations. Technicians are expected to follow safety standards, maintain organized work areas, and provide professional, courteous service at client locations.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including installation, configuration, and integration in residential environments.Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, wiring, and connectivity issues.Candidates should possess experience with Video Conferencing systems and related components used in home and small office settings.Candidates should possess familiarity with Lighting controls and Projectors, including basic programming, setup, and alignment.Additional beneficial qualifications include basic networking knowledge, ability to read wiring diagrams, and comfort using hand and power tools.Effective communication skills, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are important.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to local client sites; prior experience in AV installation, smart home technology, or a related field is preferred.
