We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Audit Manager to join our Assurance team and play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services, building trusted client relationships, and developing high-performing teams.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across industries, tackle complex business challenges, and contribute to the continued growth of a leading professional services organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage external audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with applicable auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality policies.Oversee audit teams, providing direction, coaching, and ongoing feedback to support high-quality delivery and professional development.Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders and addressing complex audit and accounting matters.Assess financial reporting risks, evaluate internal controls, and ensure appropriate audit procedures are designed and executed.Review audit documentation and financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant financial reporting frameworks.Manage engagement budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and overall engagement profitability.Identify opportunities to improve audit methodologies, operational efficiency, and the use of technology in audit delivery.Support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and the development of new business opportunities.Promote a culture of integrity, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional excellence.What We're Looking ForA recognized professional qualification in accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification.Significant experience in external audit within a professional services or public accounting environment.Proven experience managing multiple audit engagements and leading teams.Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and applicable regulatory requirements.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder management skills.Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior clients and internal stakeholders.A proactive mindset, commercial awareness, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop talent while maintaining high standards of audit quality and professional ethics.Why Join Us?Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.Lead challenging engagements and contribute to meaningful business outcomes.Develop your leadership capabilities in a collaborative, high-performance environment.Access continuous learning and professional development opportunities.Be part of a culture that values integrity, inclusion, innovation, and career growth.
