Job DescriptionIT audit materials Review Review IT audit materials supporting financial statement audits, including IT general controls (ITGC) and application controls (ITAC) to ensure the accuracy of audit material contentVerify the completeness, accuracy, and consistency of supporting evidence against audit requirementsIdentify gaps or discrepancies in the reviewed materials, summarize weaknesses and communicate with material providers timelyAudit Methodology & DocumentationAssist in standardized audit methodology applicationCompile audit working papers and organize evidenceMaintain tracker for audit findings and discrepancy inventoryDay to Day ResponsibilitiesReview financial-report IT supporting materialsMaintain a tracker for gaps in IT supporting materialsDraft audit working papers and supporting documentsFile and organize audit evidenceMaintain a tracker for audit findings and issuesCreate standardized templates for audit workflowsSupport senior auditors with ad-hoc tasksRequirementsIT/Audit Background – Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field; Analytical & Data Skills – Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; ability to work with large datasets and identify discrepancies.Attention to Detail – High accuracy in reviewing documents, reconciling figures, and preparing audit working papers; error-free work is critical.Communication Skills – Ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external auditors; clear written and verbal communication for documenting findings.Time Management – Capable of handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines during audit cycles; organized and able to prioritize work efficiently.Integrity & Confidentiality – Understanding of professional ethics; ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
