Automation Engineer / Automation Test Engineer

Role DescriptionWe are looking for an Automation Engineer / Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that improve product quality, test efficiency, and release confidence. The role involves working closely with software developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and implement effective automation strategies.Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks, executing functional, regression, integration, and system testing, analyzing test results, and identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects. The role also involves improving test coverage, optimizing automation processes, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to continuous improvements in software quality and testing practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.Strong understanding of software testing principles, test methodologies, and quality assurance processes.Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or similar.Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Robot Framework, or equivalent.Understanding of API testing, web or application testing, and database concepts.Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and basic CI/CD concepts.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Good attention to detail and ability to identify potential software quality issues.Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and cross-functional teams.A proactive mindset with an interest in automation, continuous improvement, and emerging testing technologies.
