This approach enables customers to adopt advanced industrial technology in a cost-effective and scalable way.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automation Engineer role based in Saudi Arabia. The Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automation systems that integrate with Industry360˚’s Industrial Intelligence Platform, focusing on process optimization and reliable control. Daily tasks include configuring and programming PLCs and related control systems, integrating sensors and robotics equipment, and ensuring seamless communication between shop-floor devices and higher-level systems such as MES and IIoT platforms. The role involves diagnosing and resolving automation and electrical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and supporting system upgrades and commissioning activities at customer sites. The Automation Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements, improve system performance, and document technical specifications and procedures for long-term sustainability.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve automation and control system issues efficiently.Candidates should possess process control skills, including configuring and optimizing PLCs, SCADA, and related control loops in industrial environments.Candidates should possess electrical engineering skills, such as understanding industrial power systems, wiring standards, and safety practices.Candidates should possess automation skills, including system integration, programming of control devices, and deployment of industrial automation solutions.Candidates should possess robotics-related skills, including configuring, programming, and maintaining industrial robots or robotic cells.Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably with IT/OT integration, MES, or IIoT systems.Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols and safety standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work on-site in Riyadh and visit customer facilities as needed.
