Automation Engineer (Controls & Robotics)Location: GloucestershireUK & International TravelWe’re working with an established automation engineering business delivering bespoke machinery, robotics and industrial automation systems across a range of manufacturing environments.We’re looking for a hands-on Controls & Robotics Engineer to join the team and work across PLC programming, robotics, controls integration and commissioning.What you’ll bring:• Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 and/or Siemens TIA Portal• Industrial PLC programming and software development• Industrial robot programming and integration• FANUC preferred, with ABB, Kawasaki, Nachi or similar also relevant• HMI, SCADA and industrial networks• Controls and robotics commissioning• Integration of robots, PLCs, conveyors and sensors• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills• Experience working on automated machinery or manufacturing systems• Willingness to travel across the UK and internationallyWhat you’ll be doing:Working across automation projects from programming and integration through to commissioning and customer handover, with opportunities to work on both UK and international projects.Experience with machine vision, EPLAN, packaging, conveyors, material handling or bespoke machinery would be advantageous.A practical technical assessment forms part of the recruitment process.UK right to work required.
