Automation Presales Engineer

We are the developers of SmartICS, a modern Web-SCADA/IoT solution that goes beyond standard Automation and Telemetry meaning.We are expanding our team for the MENA market and looking for a Presales Engineer who can drive technical success from initial consultation through to solution delivery.   Discover SmartICS: 🌐 www.firstcom.dev 🔗 linkedin.com/company/smartics-scada-platform Job Title: Automation Presales Engineer (MENA Region)Location: UAEWork Format: Hybrid (remote work combined with on-site meetings with Customers as required).Employment Type: Full-time.Responsibilities and Duties:-       Presales support: preparing and delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and pilot projects; providing technical consultation to the sales team;-       Technical support: receiving and processing inquiries from SI partners and End users, troubleshooting and issue reproduction, maintaining a knowledge base.Requirements:-       Location in UAE.-       Higher technical education in Process Control Systems, Automation, Electrical Power Engineering, or Information Technology.-       3+ years of experience in automation, pre-sales of industrial software (SCADA/Process Control Systems), or integration services.-       Experience in engaging with SI partners and End Users, preferably within the Middle East region.-       Solid understanding of SCADA system architecture: dispatching, operator workstations (HMI/ARM), and device connectivity.-       Hands-on experience with one or more SCADA platforms.-       Knowledge of industrial communication protocols: OPC UA, Modbus TCP/RTU, MQTT.-       Operating Systems: Windows Server/Client and Linux at power user level.-       Databases: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL.-       Scripting skills: JavaScript, Expression, or SQL scripting.-       English — fluent, both spoken and written.-       Arabic — desirable; will be considered a significant advantage.Will be a plus:-       Domain experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Water Supply, or Industrial Automation.-       Certifications in SCADA systems or Industrial Cybersecurity.-       Experience in large-scale dispatching projects or turn-key automation implementations.-       Experience in developing automation project architecture.What we offer:-       Challenging tasks and possibility to grow. -       Service contract with Firstcom FZCO UAE for the probation period (3 months) with a fixed salary.-       Permanent contract with Firstcom FZCO UAE upon probation completion, including a fixed salary, monthly KPI and Quarterly sales %. -       Hybrid work format: remote work combined with on-site meetings with Сustomers as required.-       Convenient schedule - flexible start and end of the working day.-       Corporate laptop. Please share your English language CV @Valeria Plodistaya HR@firstcom.dev
