Automation Sales Manager

The Role :You will be responsible for identifying and developing qualified sales opportunities, managing key customer relationships, securing RFQs and tenders, and driving opportunities from initial engagement through commercial negotiation and order conversion. You will work closely with the Bidding Team, while taking ownership of the customer relationship, sales strategy and commercial process.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities across ADNOC companies, EPC contractors and Oil amp; Gas customers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Procurement, Engineering, Projects, Maintenance and Operations teams
• Secure RFQs, tenders, material requisitions and budgetary enquiries
• Monitor upcoming projects, shutdowns, replacement requirements and operational needs
• Present instrumentation, automation products, software and technical capabilities to customers
• Qualify opportunities and ensure complete RFQ/specification packages
• Coordinate with the Bidding Team on sales strategy, priorities and proposal deadlines
• Follow up on quotations, technical evaluations, commercial ranking and competitor positioning
• Lead commercial negotiations and drive opportunities through to order conversion Requirements :
• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of relevant sales experience in instrumentation, process measurement, automation, control systems, ICSS or industrial software
• Proven experience dealing with ADNOC operating companies and major EPC contractors
• Strong knowledge of DCS, ESD, Fire amp; Gas, PLC, SCADA and ICSS architectures
• Familiarity with software licensing, technical support and integration requirements
• Ability to interpret RFQs, datasheets, Pamp;IDs and system architecture documents at opportunity-qualification level
• Product / Solution Exposure Experience across areas such as Flow Measurement, Instrumentation amp; Control Systems, DCS, ESD, ICSS, RTUs, Industrial Software, Calibration, Metering Systems and Eamp;I services would be highly relevant.
