Exciting Opportunity Alert! 🌟 HTC Global Services is hiring Automation Test Engineer – Airline(Disruption) for an 1-year extendable contract in Abu Dhabi, UAE (Onsite).HTC Global Services - a leading CMM level 5 global provider of innovative IT and Business Process Services and Solutions since 1990 with headquarters in Troy, Michigan, USA.Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in the Airline/Aviation domain, particularly in IROPS (Irregular Operations), Disruption Management, or Operational Recovery applications.The ideal candidate should have expertise in test automation and end-to-end testing of complex airline applications that manage operational disruptions and recovery activities, including flight delays and cancellations, aircraft and crew disruptions, passenger reaccommodation, and recovery planning.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and airline IROPS workflows.Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and integrated enterprise systems.Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.Design and execute test scenarios for airline disruption events, including:Flight delays and cancellationsFlight diversions and schedule changesAircraft technical issues and aircraft swapsCrew unavailability and crew reassignmentPassenger rebooking and reaccommodationFlight rescheduling and recovery planningAirport and other operational constraintsDownstream impact on connecting flights and passengersValidate disruption management workflows, business rules, and recovery actions.Test automated recovery recommendations and decision-support capabilities where applicable.Validate end-to-end integration and data flow between airline systems, including:Flight Operations SystemsCrew Management SystemsPassenger Service Systems (PSS)Reservation and Ticketing SystemsAirport and Ground Operations SystemsPerform API testing and automation for microservices and system integrations.Test real-time or near-real-time event processing and validate the propagation of disruption information across integrated systems.Validate event-driven architectures, message queues, and streaming data where applicable.Perform backend and database validation using SQL.Develop, maintain, and execute automated regression test suites.Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.Identify, document, track, and manage defects using Jira or similar tools.Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Airline Operations teams.Support UAT, production validation, and post-release verification activities.Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes.Mandatory Technical SkillsStrong hands-on experience in Test Automation.Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.Programming or scripting experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.Strong experience in API testing and automation using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, or similar.Experience in SQL and database/data validation.Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.Experience testing microservices and complex system integrations.Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.Experience using Jira or similar defect management tools.Interested candidates please do share your updated CV to mubeenakamal.basha@htcinc.com mentioning your Current CTC, expected CTC and notice period details.#HTCGlobalServices #ITJobs #hiring #lookingforjob #careers #jobs #immediatejoiner #recruitment #technology #jobseekers #interview #lookingforjobchange #newjob #automationtesting #disruption #irops #functionaltesting #airlinedomain #airline #testing
