Automation Tester

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester with 6+ years of experience in software testing and test automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts and ensuring the quality of applications.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.Create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.Identify, document, and track defects.Perform API and database testing.Analyse test results and work with developers to resolve issues.Maintain and enhance automation frameworks.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.Participate in Agile ceremonies and release activities.Coordinate with developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams.Mandatory Skills6+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.Strong experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.Good knowledge of SQL and database testing.Experience with Git and version control.Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum.Experience in regression and end-to-end testing.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Nice to HaveCucumber / BDD experience.Performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.Docker/Kubernetes knowledge.AWS/Azure cloud testing experience.ISTQB certification.
