Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Title: Automotive Logistics Executive Car Brands: OMODA, JAECOO, iCAUR, LUXEED, FREELANDERLocation: U.A.EJob Summary:The Logistics Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end inbound and outbound logistics operations for vehicle imports and exports. The role covers customs clearance, shipping line and freight forwarder coordination, Delivery Order (DO) collection, documentation management, CDR account management, marine insurance claims, and shipment tracking.The position ensures the timely and cost-effective movement of vehicles while maintaining full compliance with U.A.E customs, port, free zone, and other regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Import / Inbound OperationsManage end-to-end customs clearance and vehicle import operations.Handle Dubai Trade, CDR, DO collection, COO, HS Codes, and customs documentation.Coordinate with HQ, shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transporters.Track shipments from vessel arrival through clearance and delivery to the yard.Ensure timely submission of original documents and minimize demurrage/detention charges.Handle shipment discrepancies, cargo damage, and insurance claims.Export / Outbound OperationsManage vehicle exports to KSA, Egypt, and other international markets.Prepare and verify export documents, including invoices, Packing Lists, COO, BL, and MSDS.Coordinate vessel bookings, customs clearance, cargo handover, and third-party inspections.Manage LC documentation and ensure compliance with Incoterms and destination-country requirements.Maintain CDR availability and provide daily VCC and shipment status updates.Shipping & Logistics CoordinationCoordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs agents, and transporters.Negotiate freight and transportation rates and manage logistics costs.Resolve shipment delays, demurrage, detention, and operational issues.Documentation & InsuranceMaintain accurate import/export documentation and records for audit and compliance.Manage marine insurance documentation and cargo damage/loss claims.Ensure documents are submitted to Dubai Customs within required timelines.Reporting & Operational SupportMonitor logistics KPIs, including clearance lead time, port-to-yard delivery, and logistics costs.Maintain shipment/order tracking reports and provide regular updates to management.Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.Qualifications, Experience & Skills:Minimum 2 years of automotive logistics experience in the U.A.E, handling vehicle imports and exports.Hands-on experience in customs clearance, Dubai Trade, shipping line coordination, DO collection, CDR management, and import/export documentation.Knowledge of U.A.E customs regulations, Jebel Ali Port procedures, free zone requirements, HS Codes, and vehicle clearance processes.Strong coordination and negotiation skills with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transporters.Good reporting and Microsoft Excel skills.Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and ability to work within strict deadlines.Valid U.A.E driving license.6 working days, 1 day off
