This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for vehicle maintenance, mechanical inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs.The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for identifying mechanical problems, carrying out repairs and maintenance, replacing worn or damaged parts, and ensuring vehicles are maintained in safe and reliable operating condition.The successful candidate should have practical hands-on experience with vehicle mechanical systems, good troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspections, and preventive maintenance.Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical faults and maintenance requirements.Diagnose and repair mechanical problems related to engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and other vehicle components.Carry out engine repairs, brake repairs, suspension work, clutch work, and other mechanical repairs as required.Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts and components.Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.Conduct vehicle checks and test drives after completing repairs.Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are completed properly and efficiently.Follow vehicle manufacturer recommendations and workshop procedures.Maintain proper records of work completed and parts replaced.Report major mechanical issues and additional repair requirements to the supervisor.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.Follow all company health and safety procedures.Work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety.Cooperate with other mechanics and team members to complete work within the required timeframe.Qualifications & SkillsPractical hands-on experience in automotive mechanical repair and vehicle maintenance.Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical systems.Good knowledge of engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and related components.Ability to identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults.Ability to use mechanical hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.Ability to follow repair manuals and mechanical service procedures.Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills and a responsible attitude.Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.Relevant automotive mechanical training or certification is an advantage.Experience RequirementsCandidates with relevant automotive mechanical experience from their home country are welcome to apply.Previous experience working as an Automotive Mechanic in a garage, workshop, dealership, or similar automotive environment is preferred.Important: Candidates must currently be residing in the UAE to be considered for this position.
