Team members at 800CarGuru work in a dynamic environment that values professionalism, responsiveness, and strong service standards.Role Description The Automotive Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle concerns, and accurately documenting service requests. The Service Advisor coordinates with technicians to schedule and track vehicle maintenance and repair activities, provides clear explanations of recommended services, and prepares cost estimates and invoices. Daily tasks include managing service appointments, handling customer inquiries, ensuring timely updates on vehicle status, and supporting roadside assistance coordination when required. The role also involves maintaining service records, promoting appropriate maintenance packages, and contributing to a positive, customer-focused atmosphere in the service center.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Automotive Repair to understand service requirements and communicate technical information accurately.Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to build trust, manage expectations, and resolve concerns effectively.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly with customers, technicians, and other team members.Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a related automotive service role is highly beneficial.Knowledge of common vehicle systems, service schedules, and basic diagnostic concepts is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and use service management or CRM software is an advantage.Proficiency in English is required; additional languages commonly used in the UAE are a plus.A valid UAE driving license and familiarity with local automotive service standards are beneficial.
