autonomous vehicle solutions.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Autonomous Vehicle Technology Manager to lead the technology strategy, development, integration, validation, deployment, and continuous improvement of autonomous vehicle systems.The ideal candidate will provide technical and operational leadership across autonomous driving technologies, including perception, localization, mapping, planning, control, vehicle integration, simulation, connectivity, safety, fleet operations, and intelligent mobility platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement autonomous vehicle technology strategies aligned with business, mobility, safety, and operational objectives.Define technology roadmaps covering autonomous driving, vehicle intelligence, connectivity, sensing, software, and supporting infrastructure.Lead multidisciplinary teams across autonomous systems, robotics, software, AI, controls, systems engineering, and vehicle integration.Manage autonomous vehicle technology programs from concept and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and operational optimization.Evaluate autonomous driving technologies, platforms, sensors, software architectures, and technology partners.Define system requirements, technical specifications, interfaces, performance targets, and validation criteria.Oversee autonomous driving system architecture and integration across vehicle hardware and software.Manage perception systems using cameras, LiDAR, radar, ultrasonic sensors, GNSS, IMU, and related technologies.Oversee object detection, classification, tracking, free-space detection, lane detection, and environmental perception capabilities.Lead localization and mapping technologies, including GNSS, inertial systems, HD maps, SLAM, and map-management processes.Oversee motion-planning and decision-making systems for route planning, trajectory generation, obstacle avoidance, and behavioral planning.Coordinate vehicle control systems covering steering, braking, acceleration, stability, and low-level actuation.Ensure effective integration between autonomous software and vehicle electronic control systems.Manage vehicle-to-cloud, vehicle-to-infrastructure, fleet-management, and connectivity technologies.Establish simulation, virtual testing, scenario generation, and digital-validation strategies.Develop test plans covering simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, closed-course testing, and controlled public-road testing where permitted.Coordinate autonomous vehicle validation across different weather, traffic, road, lighting, and operational conditions.Define operational design domains and ensure autonomous systems operate within approved technical and environmental boundaries.Establish technology performance requirements for safety, reliability, availability, latency, accuracy, and system robustness.Monitor autonomous-system performance using vehicle telemetry, logs, sensor data, operational data, and fleet analytics.Lead analysis of disengagements, system failures, near misses, unexpected behavior, and operational anomalies.Conduct root-cause analysis and coordinate corrective and preventive actions for autonomous-system issues.Establish processes for software releases, configuration management, version control, rollback, and deployment validation.Coordinate over-the-air software updates and ensure appropriate testing and release controls.Work closely with cybersecurity teams to protect vehicles, communications, software, cloud platforms, and operational systems.Establish autonomous vehicle safety processes covering hazard identification, risk assessment, fail-safe behavior, redundancy, and fault handling.Support functional safety and safety-assurance activities throughout technology development and deployment.Coordinate with regulatory, legal, compliance, and public-sector stakeholders on autonomous vehicle requirements and approvals.Manage autonomous vehicle technology vendors, OEMs, sensor suppliers, software providers, engineering partners, and system integrators.Define supplier technical requirements, performance standards, integration responsibilities, service levels, and acceptance criteria.Monitor vendor performance, technical quality, delivery schedules, system reliability, and support responsiveness.Manage technology budgets, development costs, deployment investments, and lifecycle expenditures.Evaluate technology investments based on performance, scalability, risk, total cost of ownership, and expected operational value.Support autonomous fleet deployment, operational readiness, vehicle commissioning, and technology ramp-up.Develop procedures for autonomous vehicle intervention, remote assistance, recovery, roadside incidents, and system failures.Coordinate with Fleet and Operations teams to ensure autonomous vehicles can be safely maintained and operated.Establish vehicle health monitoring, predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and remote-support capabilities.Evaluate emerging technologies including advanced AI models, sensor fusion, edge computing, V2X, simulation, digital twins, and autonomous fleet intelligence.Identify opportunities to improve autonomous driving performance through machine learning, data engineering, simulation, and continuous system learning.Establish data-management standards for sensor data, vehicle telemetry, maps, scenarios, testing datasets, and operational records.Ensure appropriate data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and access controls for autonomous vehicle data.Develop technical documentation covering architecture, requirements, testing, deployment, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Coordinate training for engineering, operations, safety, maintenance, support, and technical teams.Establish technology governance, engineering standards, review processes, and lifecycle-management practices.Provide leadership with regular reports covering autonomous-system performance, safety, technology maturity, projects, costs, risks, and improvement opportunities.Key autonomous driving, robotics, intelligent transportation systems, automotive technology, robotics software, or advanced mobility platforms, preferably within automotive, logistics, transportation, robotics, or technology environments.The candidate should demonstrate:Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle system architecture and technology development.Experience managing autonomous driving or intelligent mobility technology programs.Knowledge of perception, sensor fusion, localization, mapping, planning, and vehicle control.Experience with cameras, LiDAR, radar, GNSS, IMU, ultrasonic sensors, and automotive sensing systems.Strong understanding of robotics, AI, machine learning, computer vision, and autonomous decision-making.Experience with autonomous vehicle simulation, scenario testing, validation, and system verification.Knowledge of vehicle software, embedded systems, ECUs, CAN, automotive networks, and vehicle integration.Experience with cloud platforms, telemetry, data pipelines, fleet management, or connected-vehicle technologies.Strong understanding of functional safety, autonomous-system safety, risk assessment, and fail-safe design.Knowledge of cybersecurity and secure software practices for connected and autonomous vehicles.Experience managing OEMs, technology vendors, sensor suppliers, software providers, and system integrators.Strong analytical skills with
