AV BGM Lighting Control Engineer

Job Purpose: To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and support Audio-Visual (AV), Background Music (BGM), and Lighting Control systems, ensuring reliable and efficient operation across the facility.Roles, Responsibilities & Duties:System Operation & MonitoringMonitor and operate AV, BGM, and lighting control systems.Ensure all systems are functioning properly and meeting operational requirements.Monitor system performance and attend to alarms and faults.Maintenance & TroubleshootingPerform preventive and corrective maintenance of AV, BGM, and lighting control systems.Troubleshoot faults related to audio systems, speakers, amplifiers, displays, projectors, control panels, and lighting controllers.Coordinate with specialist contractors and vendors for complex repairs and technical support.Attend breakdowns and resolve issues within the required response time.AV & BGM SystemsMaintain AV equipment, including displays, projectors, sound systems, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and control systems.Ensure the smooth operation of BGM systems across designated areas.Support AV requirements for meetings, events, and operational activities.Monitor audio quality and system performance.Lighting Control SystemsOperate and maintain lighting control systems and associated controllers.Troubleshoot lighting control faults and communication issues.Monitor lighting schedules and ensure proper operation as per site requirements.Support system programming and adjustments when required.FM Operations & CoordinationCoordinate with FM teams, clients, contractors, and vendors regarding system maintenance and operational issues.Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities for AV, BGM, and lighting control systems.Ensure all maintenance activities are completed as per approved procedures and schedules.Documentation & ReportingMaintain maintenance records, system logs, and service reports.Prepare reports on faults, breakdowns, and corrective actions.Maintain updated records of equipment and system documentation.Health, Safety & ComplianceFollow all company HSE policies, procedures, and safe working practices.Ensure compliance with relevant standards and site requirements.Report any safety incidents or system-related risks.Education & QualificationDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, AV Technology, Automation, or a related field.Relevant certifications in AV, BGM, lighting control, or automation systems are preferred.Experience & Skills3–5 years of relevant experience in AV, BGM, lighting control, or Facility Management.Good knowledge of AV systems, audio equipment, and lighting control systems.Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.Knowledge of control systems and communication protocols is an advantage.Good communication and coordination skills.Ability to work independently and respond to emergency breakdowns.
