AV CAD Designer – AutoCAD & SketchUp

Every cinema and smart home we build starts as a drawing. We need the person who draws them.Custom AV designs and installs dedicated home cinemas, whole-home automation, lighting control and distributed AV for luxury villas and penthouses across the UAE. You'll turn concepts into clean, buildable drawings and 3D visuals that clients sign off and installers can follow without calling you.The roleCinema design: room layouts, Dolby Atmos speaker placement, seating and sightlines, screen sizing, acoustic treatment zones3D and renders: SketchUp models and photoreal renders of cinemas and living spaces for client presentations and proposalsAutomation layouts: KNX, Lutron and Control4 devices, including keypads, sensors, shading and lighting circuitsTechnical drawings: floor plans, RCPs, wall elevations, schematics, line diagrams, rack elevations, cable schedulesSite documentation: shop drawings, containment and conduit drawings, and as-built packs at handoverCoordination: work with consultants, MEP, interior designers and main contractors through revisions and approvalsSales support: fast, sharp drawings and visuals that help win proposalsYou'll need3+ years of AutoCAD drafting in AV, smart home, ELV or low-voltageStrong SketchUp skills with a rendering engine (V-Ray, Enscape, D5 or similar)A portfolio with residential AV or home cinema drawings and rendersWorking knowledge of KNX, Lutron, Control4 or similarA solid grasp of AV signal flow, cabling and rack designUAE experience with consultant submittals and main contractor coordinationPrecision.
