In this role, the AV Engineer designs, installs, configures, and supports audio-visual systems for client environments, ensuring high-quality video conferencing and digital signage experiences. Daily responsibilities include performing site assessments, integrating AV hardware and software, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and maintaining system documentation. The AV Engineer collaborates with internal teams and client stakeholders to understand requirements, propose solutions, and deliver projects on time and within scope. The role also involves monitoring system performance, applying best practices for AV integration, and supporting continuous improvement of AV services.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Audio Visual (AV) Systems and AV Integration skills, with experience in designing, installing, and supporting AV solutions.Candidates should possess Video Conferencing expertise, including configuration, optimization, and support of conferencing platforms and related hardware.Candidates should possess Digital Signage skills, including setup, content deployment, and ongoing management of signage solutions.Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting abilities, with a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving AV and IT-related issues.Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs), experience with AV control systems, and knowledge of cabling standards.Strong communication skills, client-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team are essential.Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in AV, IT, or related fields, and prior experience in a similar AV engineering role are highly advantageous.
