The company emphasizes reliability, responsiveness, and customer-centric support across all engagements.Role Description The AV Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Berne, Switzerland. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining audio-visual (AV) systems, including video conferencing platforms and digital signage solutions, for enterprise and commercial environments. The AV Engineer will perform diagnostics and troubleshooting, ensuring system reliability, optimal performance, and minimal downtime. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with internal teams and clients to design AV integrations, preparing technical documentation, and providing user training and support. The role also requires monitoring system performance, coordinating with vendors, and contributing to continuous improvement of AV standards and practices.Qualifications Strong experience with Audio Visual (AV) Systems and AV Integration, including design, installation, and maintenance.Hands-on skills in Video Conferencing solutions and Digital Signage platforms, with familiarity across major vendors and technologies.Proficient troubleshooting capabilities for AV hardware, software, and network-related issues.Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, cabling standards) and compatibility with AV systems.Relevant technical education or certification in electronics, IT, or AV engineering (e.g., CTS or similar) is beneficial.Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation, and to produce clear installation and configuration reports.Strong communication and customer-service skills, with the ability to work on-site with clients in a professional manner.Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities independently or within a team.Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage for client-facing work in Switzerland.
