AV / LCD TV / SDA TechnicianLocation: Jeddah & Al Qassim, Saudi ArabiaEmployment Type: Full-TimeRole PurposeThe AV / LCD TV / SDA Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining LCD TVs and Small Domestic Appliances (SDA). This role requires strong technical expertise in component-level repairs, field service, software updates, and customer support while ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer standards and company quality requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair LCD TVs at the component level.Perform backlight replacement and repair LCD panel vertical line issues using COF bonding and laser bonding machines.Troubleshoot and repair Small Domestic Appliances (SDA), including:Coffee machinesRobot vacuum cleanersSteam ironsKitchen appliancesOther household appliancesCarry out field service visits to customer locations for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.Perform software and firmware updates on LCD TVs and other electronic products.Read and interpret service manuals, circuit diagrams, and technical documentation.Use diagnostic equipment and specialized repair tools to identify faults.Identify and order spare parts using the company's service management system.Complete service reports and update repair status accurately in the system.Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.Provide professional customer service and explain repair findings when required.Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.Follow all health, safety, and company service procedures.EducationTechnical Diploma or Certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience repairing LCD TVs and consumer electronics.Proven experience in component-level electronic repairs.Experience repairing Small Domestic Appliances (SDA).Previous experience with an authorized service center or internationally recognized consumer electronics brands is highly preferred.Technical RequirementsStrong experience repairing LCD TVs at the component level.Experience with:Backlight replacementCOF bonding and laser bonding repairs for LCD panel vertical linesSoftware and firmware updatesAbility to read service manuals and electronic schematics.Skilled in using electronic diagnostic and testing equipment.Experience identifying and ordering spare parts through service management systems.Basic computer skills for reporting and service updates.Good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking).Experience working with one or more of the leading consumer electronics and home appliance brands.Other RequirementsValid Saudi driving license.Willingness to travel to customer locations for field service.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work independently and within a team.Willing to be based in Jeddah or Al Qassim.
