Operations Manager – AV & Live EventsUxbridge OR London | Full TimeAn exciting opportunity has opened for an Operations Manager to join a leading global live events and audiovisual business, based at a busy venue in Uxbridge.Working closely with the Technical Events Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operational delivery of events, coordinating teams, equipment and resources to ensure everything runs smoothly from setup through to breakdown. This is a hands-on leadership role combining AV operations, people management, client service and commercial responsibility.The RoleLead the operations team across daily AV setups, event delivery and strikesPlan staffing levels and allocate resources in line with the venue’s event scheduleOversee the delivery of AV equipment, ensuring everything arrives on time and is set up to the required standardManage on-site equipment and inventory, sourcing internally wherever possible before arranging external sub-hiresMaintain strong working relationships with venue teams, clients, suppliers and internal departmentsWork closely with Sales and Technical teams to coordinate upcoming events and operational requirementsSupport invoicing and billing activity, ensuring information is accurate and completed efficientlyAttend venue operational meetings and act as a key point of contact for day-to-day deliveryLead, coach and develop operational team members, including performance management and trainingEnsure health and safety procedures are consistently followed across the venueKeep up to date with developments in AV technology and identify equipment requirementsAbout YouYou’ll have a strong background in live events and audiovisual operations, with experience coordinating large-scale events and leading operational teams.
