Apply & track with Apply EdgeAV Programmer 3 | McLean, VA | Up to $150KI’m currently working with a leading technology and engineering organization that is looking to add an AV Programmer 3 to their team in McLean, VA.This is an opportunity for an experienced AV Programmer to work on complex, high-profile technology environments, developing and supporting integrated AV and control systems from design through commissioning.The role:
- Develop and implement programming for integrated AV systems
- Program and configure control systems across complex AV environments
- Work with platforms including Crestron, AMX, Extron and Q-SYS
- Develop control logic, user interfaces and system functionality
- Integrate AV equipment, control systems and networked technologies
- Troubleshoot programming and system integration issues
- Support system testing, commissioning and client handover
- Review technical designs and work closely with AV engineers, designers and project teams
- Provide technical support throughout installation and commissioningWhat they’re looking for:
- Strong professional AV programming experience
- Experience with Crestron, AMX, Extron and/or Q-SYS programming
- Understanding of AV control systems, signal flow and system integration
- Ability to read and interpret AV drawings, schematics and system documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working alongside AV designers, engineers and installation teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills
