AV System Engineer/Programmer

Role Description The AV System Engineer/Programmer is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, and programming audio-visual systems for various applications, ensuring seamless integration with IT and unified communications platforms. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing technical requirements, programming control systems, performing system testing, and supporting installation and commissioning activities. The AV System Engineer/Programmer will collaborate with project managers, system designers, and field technicians to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within scope. QualificationsStrong systems engineering understanding, with experience in AV or related IT infrastructure projects.Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support for complex AV and IT systems, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.Solid system administration capabilities, including managing configurations, updates, and maintenance for AV control systems and related networked devices.Experience programming AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS) and integrating audio, video, and conferencing platforms is highly beneficial.Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS) and unified communications solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar platforms.Professional qualifications in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred but not mandatory.Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multicultural teams.Being a self-starter with goal-orientated task-completion agenda is a plus.WhatsApp me @ +65 9187 8549 for more details.
