In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment, ensuring flawless technical delivery for events, shows, and daily operations.You will work closely with internal teams, performers, and event organizers to deliver exceptional guest experiences through high-quality sound, visuals, and lighting.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, set up, test, and operate audio-visual equipment including projectors, microphones, sound systems, lighting, video monitors, cameras, and video conferencing systemsOperate AV systems during live events, shows, meetings, and presentationsManage live audio mixing, video switching, and lighting controlPerform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure all equipment is in excellent working conditionTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionallyRepair faulty equipment or coordinate external repairs when requiredSupport event organizers, presenters, performers, bands, and singers, including sound checks and stage setup in line with technical ridersMaintain accurate records of AV inventory, maintenance schedules, and repair logsDocument setup configurations, operating procedures, and troubleshooting solutionsCollaborate closely with event coordinators, IT teams, and other departmentsBe fully aware of recreation facilities, evening programs, show concepts, and schedulesEnsure all AV areas and equipment are clean, safe, and well-organizedCompliance & StandardsAdhere to Rixos Hotels & Resorts policies, operational standards, and ISO Integrated Management System requirementsActively participate in quality improvement, risk management, health & safety, environmental protection, and energy-saving initiativesContribute to continuous improvement and guest satisfaction programsQualificationsEducation & ExperienceDiploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Audio-Visual TechnologyMinimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar AV roleHospitality or event environment experience is an advantageSkills & CompetenciesStrong technical knowledge of professional AV systemsGood communication skills in EnglishTeam-oriented with a positive and professional attitudeAbility to work independently and under pressure during live eventsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsOur Values – How You Succeed In This RoleAct with integrity, sincerity, and transparencyTake ownership, be reliable, and follow through on commitmentsMaintain confidentiality and professionalism at all timesContinuously seek improvement and strive to exceed expectationsDeliver excellence in hospitality and service qualityAdditional InformationWhat We’re Looking ForA proactive leader with strong integrity and professionalismSomeone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environmentA team player who values collaboration and guest satisfactionA professional committed to continuous improvement and service excellence
