The ideal candidate will oversee quality audits, compliance monitoring, process standardization, corrective action management, and multidisciplinary collaboration while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory adherence, and the highest levels of aviation safety.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement aviation quality strategies, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and quality assurance frameworks aligned with organizational objectives and aviation regulations.Lead quality assurance activities across flight operations, aircraft maintenance, engineering, ground operations, technical services, and support functions.Collaborate with Flight Operations, Aircraft Maintenance, Engineering, Safety, Technical Services, Supply Chain, Regulatory Compliance, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to strengthen quality performance.Develop quality policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), inspection programmes, audit schedules, and continuous improvement initiatives.Conduct internal quality audits, supplier audits, maintenance facility audits, process assessments, and compliance inspections.Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programmes, root cause analyses, non-conformance investigations, and quality improvement initiatives.Oversee document control, quality records, technical manuals, regulatory documentation, and quality reporting processes.Coordinate with aviation authorities, certification bodies, aircraft manufacturers, maintenance organizations, suppliers, and external auditors during regulatory inspections and certification activities.Monitor aviation regulations, manufacturer requirements, industry standards, and emerging best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including audit completion, quality compliance, corrective action closure, safety performance, regulatory findings, supplier quality, operational reliability, and customer satisfaction.Conduct quality risk assessments, process reviews, compliance evaluations, supplier performance reviews, benchmarking studies, and continuous improvement programmes.Ensure compliance with UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) regulations, ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), EASA, FAA, ISO 9001, Safety Management System (SMS) requirements, and organizational quality standards.Manage aviation quality budgets, audit programmes, quality systems, external consultants, certification activities, and strategic quality improvement projects.Drive digital transformation through artificial intelligence (AI)-powered quality analytics, predictive compliance monitoring, automated audit management, digital documentation systems, workflow automation, and business intelligence solutions.Utilize AMOS, TRAX, Ramco Aviation, SAP, IBM Maximo, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Tableau, electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS), computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and aviation quality management platforms to optimize quality performance and generate actionable insights.Prepare executive dashboards, quality performance reports, regulatory compliance reviews, audit summaries, supplier evaluations, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.Lead, mentor, and develop quality engineers, quality auditors, compliance specialists, technical inspectors, and multidisciplinary teams while fostering a culture of safety, quality, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.Master's degree in Aviation Management, Engineering Management, Quality Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline is highly advantageous.Professional certifications such as AS9100 Lead Auditor, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent are preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation quality assurance, aviation compliance, aircraft maintenance quality, aviation engineering, safety management, or related roles.At least 2 years of experience managing aviation quality teams, audit programmes, regulatory compliance initiatives, or aviation quality systems preferred.Strong understanding of aviation quality management systems, airworthiness requirements, aviation regulations, quality auditing, Safety Management Systems (SMS), maintenance quality, supplier quality management, and continuous improvement methodologies.Experience with AMOS, TRAX, Ramco Aviation, SAP, IBM Maximo, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, eQMS platforms, CMMS solutions, and aviation quality management software.Familiarity with AI-powered quality monitoring, predictive maintenance analytics, digital quality systems, electronic audit management, aviation data analytics, and advanced compliance technologies is highly advantageous.Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, project management, organizational, investigative, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple aviation quality initiatives while balancing regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, safety requirements, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with distributed aviation teams, regulators, maintenance organizations, OEMs, suppliers, auditors, executives, and global stakeholders, with occasional travel for
