The role includes designing and implementing training programmes through specialist external partners and internal trainers, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance in collaboration with all relevant departments.Main ResponsibilitiesTraining / ComplianceCoordinate mandatory training (food safety & hygiene, health & safety, role-specific training) and onboarding trainingMaintain training records and certifications for audits and quality standardsReport on identified training gaps and improvement opportunitiesManage external training providersEmployee EngagementDevelop innovative approaches to training and employee engagement in complex working environmentsOwn the onboarding process, including a mentoring systemCoordinate internal communications (newsletters, updates)Talent DevelopmentDesign succession plans and identify internal talentParticipate in the annual performance appraisal processDevelop learning programmes, leveraging available tools/subsidised training schemesBuild career paths within the organisationManage training data and report on progress against KPIsCandidate ProfileA minimum of 3 years proven experience in Aviation Security within the last 5 years, gained in the aviation catering or in-flight supplies or aviation sector, is required.Safety Management System (SMS) and Ramp Safety (Airside Safety) Certificate holder.Excellent command of English (C2 level certificate) and Greek (certificate is mandatory), including the ability to interpret regulatory requirements, draft policies and reports, and communicate effectively with Aviation Authorities, customers, and international stakeholders.Proven experience in training & development within a dynamic, multi-faceted environment.Strong knowledge of compliance/regulatory training across multiple locations.Experience with HR systems and e-learning platforms.Proven experience in succession planning and talent development.Experience designing and implementing training programmes that support organisational change.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageStable, full-time, permanent positionWork in a modern and dynamic Inflight Catering environment at Athens International AirportOpportunities for professional growth and continuous trainingWhy AirCanteenIf you have strong coordination skills, effective communication abilities, and can inspire and develop people in a demanding business environment, we'd love to meet you.
