Perform alignment and calibration procedures to ensure maximum operating efficiency.Troubleshoot aircraft avionics maintenance issues and analyze equipment operating characteristics to identify the source of malfunctions. Utilize layout drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation to determine appropriate repair procedures and perform operational checks, testing, and troubleshooting of avionics and communication systems.Interpret and apply maintenance and installation policies, procedures, technical publications, and applicable directives related to aircraft avionics and communication systems.Maintain and calibrate avionics and instrument system test equipment and conduct detailed testing of repaired equipment using appropriate bench test equipment and facilities.Determine requirements for necessary maintenance equipment, tools, spare parts, and other resources.Supervise avionics and communication maintenance personnel and plan, coordinate, and schedule work assignments.Ensure maintenance personnel are familiar with and comply with applicable maintenance management directives, procedures, and standards.Maintain and control avionics technical orders (TOs), maintenance records, training documentation, and applicable forms.Evaluate the performance of avionics specialists to ensure compliance with applicable policies, preventive maintenance directives, technical orders, and established standards.Establish and maintain requirements for avionics maintenance equipment, tools, spare parts, and related resources.Conduct on-the-job training as part of the Train-the-Trainer program. Provide practical training to personnel through scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities to support their qualification in aircraft avionics systems and maintenance procedures. The maximum trainer-to-trainee ratio shall be 1:3.Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceMinimum Diploma in Avionics Systems, a recognized aviation avionics maintenance training program of at least two years, or an equivalent qualification.Minimum 5 years of proven experience in aircraft avionics maintenance within military or civilian aviation, including a minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an aircraft avionics technician on the relevant helicopter platform.Must have successfully completed an approved avionics type-rating course or specialized avionics maintenance course from a recognized aviation organization.OJT logbook or documented training records demonstrating experience on the relevant helicopter platform are preferred.Must hold a recognized Train-the-Trainer course certificate.English language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing equivalent to a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 for non-native English speakers. Alternatively, English proficiency may be assessed during the interview.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other relevant office automation tools.All qualifications, experience, training, certifications, and information stated in the CV must be supported by valid official documentation.Must successfully pass the required technical interview and assessment.Must successfully obtain the required security clearance from the relevant government authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
