AVP - Strategy Development and Execution

Job PurposeThe Strategy Manager will be responsible for supporting the development, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives that drive business growth and operational excellence. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and measurable outcomesKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and execution of business and strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives.Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to develop strategic initiatives and drive implementation.Conduct market, business, and performance analyses to identify growth opportunities, business challenges, and improvement areas.Track and monitor strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of targeted outcomes.Prepare and present strategic reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management.Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic priorities.Apply change management principles to support sustainable implementation of strategic initiatives.Coordinate with various business functions to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective governance of key projects.Lead and manage strategic projects from planning through execution while maintaining focus on business objectives and organizational impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Strategy, or a related field.Postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.Professional certifications such as PMP or other project management certifications are considered an advantage.6-10 years of relevant professional experience, including experience in strategy, business planning, transformation, consulting, or financial servicesRequired SkillsStrong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and reporting.Ability to develop executive-level presentations and business cases.Strong project management and organizational skills.Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions and levels within the organization.Strong negotiation, facilitation, and relationship-building capabilities.
