The institution offers opportunities for faculty to contribute to academic growth, research, and community-oriented education.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Ayurveda Faculty at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor levels, based in Sidhpur. Faculty members will deliver classroom and clinical teaching in Ayurveda, prepare and update lesson plans, and ensure alignment with regulatory and university guidelines. Daily responsibilities include guiding students in theory and practical sessions, supervising internships or clinical postings where applicable, and mentoring students in academic and professional development. The role involves engaging in scholarly research, publishing in academic journals, participating in curriculum development, and contributing to departmental meetings and committees. Faculty are also expected to support academic administration, maintain accurate records, uphold ethical standards, and actively participate in university events and outreach activities.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Communication skills for teaching, mentoring students, and collaborating with colleagues.Candidates should possess Education-related skills, including lesson planning, curriculum delivery, assessment, and student guidance.Candidates should possess Research skills for scholarly work, publication, and contribution to the advancement of Ayurveda.Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance skills, such as maintaining academic records, coordinating departmental activities, and supporting accreditation processes.Candidates should possess Customer Service–oriented skills to address student concerns professionally and contribute to a supportive learning environment.Recognized postgraduate qualifications in Ayurveda (e.g., MD/MS in Ayurveda) from an accredited institution, in line with regulatory requirements of NCISM.Prior teaching experience in Ayurveda at a college or university level is highly desirable, especially for Associate Professors and Professors.Familiarity with national regulatory frameworks and standards for Ayurveda education and practice.Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment and demonstrate commitment to ethical, evidence-informed Ayurveda practice.
