Azure Cloud Engineer

Required Technical Skill Set :Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI), Hybrid Cloud, Azure Arc, Azure Infrastructure Must Have : ● 5+ years of experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer, ideally within large-scale retail enterprise programs or ERP migrations. ● Proven experience translating High-Level Designs into comprehensive Detailed Level Designs (DLD) and navigating them through an Architecture Review Board (ARB) or similar governance body. ● Demonstrated experience executing tenant-to-tenant Azure migrations, including the moving of workloads, resources, and identities between disparate Azure tenancies. ● Proven track record of delivering technical infrastructure support, troubleshooting, and stabilisation during post go-live Hypercare windows. ● Extensive hands-on experience implementing Azure Landing Zones aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) principles. ● Deep proficiency with Terraform and Azure DevOps for automated, pipeline-driven infrastructure deployment. ● Strong hybrid and multi-cloud networking experience, including Azure Hub-and-Spoke, Azure Firewall policy management, ExpressRoute, and native routing protocols (BGP). ● Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking concepts required to support multi-cloud connectivity, specifically VPCs, Cloud Routers, Network Connectivity Center (NCC) topologies, and BGP route propagation over interconnects/VPNs. ● Experience managing data transport, transit routing, and DNS resolution between Azure, GCP, and on-premise data centres. ● Proven expertise in provisioning and tuning core Azure components (but not limited to) like Azure SQL Managed Instance, SQL Server on IaaS, Azure Virtual Machines etc ● Strong systems administration experience in both Windows Server and Linux environments. ● Proficiency using tools like Jira, Confluence and Service Now for agile task tracking, delivery and documentation
