My client is an early-stage startup building one of the category-defining an AI app/social media product — an app that takes action on users' behalf, not just answers questions. We've proven early product-market fit and are now hiring our first Head of Growth to turn that early traction into a repeatable growth engine.Location: UK South East. Commutable to Central London for regular meetings with founders.This is a true startup builder role: no legacy playbook, no big-company machine behind you — just a small team, real product traction, and a blank-canvas mandate to build brand, content, community, and growth from scratch.What you'll own🔹 A Consumer app launch. 🔹 PLG engine — activation, retention, referral loops, and lifecycle marketing that make the product itself the primary acquisition channel🔹 Social-first brand — a distinct, culture-native voice across TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, X, YouTube Shorts, and Reddit (not corporate AI-speak)🔹 Content & creator engine — demos-as-content, use-case storytelling, and an influencer program tied to real signup numbers🔹 Team build-out — hire and lead a lean marketing org as we scale through our next funding roundWhat we're looking for🔹 A proven track record launching a B2C mobile app — you've taken a consumer app in the UK & EU from early traction to real scale and can point to the specific playbook, numbers, and channels behind it🔹 Hands-on experience building an organic social engine across TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and other leading platforms, with measurable growth to show for it🔹 Genuine comfort operating in early-stage startup ambiguity — this is a builder role, not a maintainer role🔹 Excellent product & data & metrics analytics and fluency🔹 Deep understanding of UK-first and wider European B2C markets — consumer behaviour, platform dynamics, and go-to-market nuances across the region🔹 Excellent written and on-camera communication🔹 AI-native product experience, a personal following or reputation in tech/AI, experience scaling a marketing function through a funding round, community-led growth chops (Discord/Reddit).Why joinThis is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a launch of an exciting life changing app and help build and growPlease send your CV in complete confidence to: yaz@yaz-associates.com.PLEASE NOTE: ONLY UK NATIONAL OR PERMANENT RESIDENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED.
