The stack is greenfield, the decisions are yours to make, and the output is a production lending platform that real borrowers use.Responsibilities:Design and build the LOS backend architecture and LMS integrationsOwn the full API integration layer: bureau (CIBIL/Experian), eKYC (Aadhaar/V-CIP), eSign, bank statement analysis, PennyDrop, disbursal (Razorpay/Cashfree), NACH/UPI AutoPayBuild fraud detection integrations: FaceMatch, liveness detection, IP tracking, device risk scoringSet up transactional email and SMS delivery for KFS, sanction letters, and borrower alertsOwn data residency compliance — all data stays in India; implement per RBI IT Framework and DPDP ActLead DR/BCP implementation and security/pen testingRequirements:4–7 years of backend engineering; fintech or lending platform experience strongly preferredStrong in Java; know REST API design inside outHave integrated financial APIs (bureau, KYC, payment gateway, NACH) in production — not in a demo environmentSolid on security: encryption, VAPT, OWASP top 10Cloud-native (AWS/GCP/Azure) and understand data residency requirementsFamiliar with RBI IT Framework for NBFCs, or willing to get up to speed fast
