This focus on data control and transparency aims to give people greater agency over their well-being and healthcare decisions.Role Description: The Back End Developer will design, build, and maintain server-side features that power our AI-driven health application. This full-time, on-site role in Chandigarh, India, involves developing and optimising APIs, managing databases, and integrating third-party services to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable performance. The developer will collaborate closely with front-end engineers, data scientists, and product teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, performing code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing best practices for security and data protection. The role also includes contributing to architectural decisions, improving development workflows, and supporting continuous integration and deployment processes. We are looking for candidates with at least 3 to 5 years of experience. Multiple positions available. QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including building RESTful APIs, handling authentication, and working with databases.Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, including version control, testing, debugging, and familiarity with development lifecycles.Candidates should possess Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, with experience designing modular, reusable, and maintainable code.Candidates should possess core Programming skills in one or more backend languages (such as Node.js, Python, Java, or similar) and an understanding of performance optimisation.Candidates should have basic awareness of Front-End Development to collaborate effectively with UI engineers and ensure smooth API integration.Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, or microservices architectures is beneficial.Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance in healthcare or other sensitive domains is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work collaboratively on-site, communicate clearly, and take ownership of deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
