Back End Developer

The company’s mission is to enable every person to have their own roof and its vision is to raise global living standards by becoming the operating system for the home building industry.Role Description As a Back End Developer at MAHTO, you will design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications that power our home-building ecosystem. You will develop and optimize APIs, integrate with internal and external services, and ensure data integrity, performance, and security across our platforms. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineering team members to deliver reliable features and improve existing systems. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore Urban, requiring active participation in technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of our development practices.Qualifications Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience building and maintaining production-grade services.Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and core Programming fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.Ability to collaborate with Front-End Development teams and work with modern web frameworks and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.Experience with server-side languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Go) and databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD practices is beneficial.Familiarity with security best practices, performance optimization, and scalable architecture design.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work on-site in Bangalore Urban, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.
